Software Quality Assurance Analyst
Overview:
Two Barrels is hiring a Software Quality Assurance Analyst for $65,000 a year. It’s a traditional employee role with company benefits.
We’re looking for someone to develop our software QA processes by collaborating with our software, product managers, and users. This position will work closely with our software team to create an incredible amount of internal user and training resources that will benefit the entire company. As a new position, this will become an integral part of our software development process and new feature releases.

Responsibilities:
- Work with subject matter experts to understand/assist with requirements and develop test cases and scenarios
- Plan, design, and conduct quality audits of software solutions
- Create engaging product training content, videos, user guides, and visual step by steps for new features
- Assist in the preparation of software engineering documents pertaining to new features
- Record/document departmental work-flow processes across many teams
- Manage all user training, guides, and video libraries
- Receive and analyze user issues and requests, providing resolution instruction and or training when necessary. Validate and document non-training issues/defects to share with Product Owner
- Perform research to identify functional requirements, working with users to clarify and refine requirements. Translate into functional specifications
- Plan new releases with Product Managers/Software Developers to ensure success
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience of software analysis and quality assurance
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile environment
- Demonstrate experience creating engaging user guides and training videos
- Passionate, positive self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, sometimes unstructured environment
- Experience working with software teams and exposure to basic coding skills
- Experience developing QA processes and test cases for new software releasesStrong organizational and time management skills to ensure completion of tasks
- Ability to work with other team members to produce high quality content
